The PinSpot Service delivers content to Bluetooth enabled mobile smart terminals (cell phone, PDA’s, etc.) within a specified proximity of the PinSpot. It enables advertisers to deliver video commercials, electronic coupons, product specifications, promotional information, ring-tones and games to consumers on their mobile smart terminals. PinSpot is intended to motivate purchases, by delivering content, when consumers are a short distance from the point-of-purchase. It can also draw consumers into proximity of the point-of purchase. Lastly, the Pinspot Bluetooth messages are received free of charge by the end user.
The PinSpot solves the dilemma of the mobile consumer, by delivering the message wherever the intended recipient is, via their mobile smart terminal. It results in more efficient communication and marketing. PinSpot is a value added service to any traditional media campaign.
Bluetooth is the Global Standard for short range, wireless, personal connectivity. By communicating via Bluetooth, PinSpot:
